About the company

For our client in Dordrecht, we are looking for a packaging employee. This company is active in the production of feeds for hobby animals, especially birds and rodents, and in the marketing and sale of pet food products for dogs, cats, birds and rodents.

Work

As an employee in the packaging department, you will be responsible for various tasks, including packing packages, repacking products into boxes, manually sealing boxes and working on the conveyor belt. In addition, one person from the group will be responsible for cleaning the hall, work area and canteen (excluding toilets). Work will be year-round, with guaranteed hours per week of 40 hours (from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.), with occasional overtime possible.

You will work on the shop floor in clean conditions, where there is a pleasant smell of vanilla. There is no dust and the temperature on the shop floor is room temperature.

We are looking for someone who:

• Knowledge of English is an advantage
• Like to do some more physical work
• Availability is for a minimum of 12 months

There is the possibility of progressing to machine operator in the future, where you will take on simple tasks such as film changing, weight adjusting and machine starting.
