SAP Functional Consultant SD
Our client stichd is a member of the PUMA Group, stichd is a licensee with its headquarter located in ‘s-Hertogenbosch. In addition, stichd has a global presence with sales offices throughout Europe, the UK, in Mexico, in China and in Southeast Asia. The fanwear team is primarily situated in London. The company’s warehousing and logistics are located in Tilburg and via their service partners in Mexico, China and Malaysia.

The Job
A SAP Functional Consultant SD you will have in-depth understanding of the stichd business processes to be able to evaluate the internal demands and requirements. You will identify use cases and transform them into functional requirements to configure them in SAP (themselves or via external partners). If a business requirement cannot be met by standard SAP, then you will specify the enhancements together with an (external) developer.Your Mission
- Consulting with functional experts and senior management to determine business needs and requirements;
- Designing, developing, deploying and testing use cases in standard SAP solutions also ensuring smooth system integration;
- Acting as a liaison between the business functions and the technical IT team;
- Documenting the SAP functional processes, settings, test cases and results and preparing guidelines that allow other consultants to do further changes;
- Together with the SAP basis consultant do troubleshooting and resolving issues to optimize performance;
- Taking care that proper training is given to the functional experts;
- Pro-actively proposing enhancements based on internal demands, professional judgement as well as based on external know-how and SAP’s continuous improvements;
- Ensuring compliance with industry regulations;
- Proactively providing consulting services on both new implementations and existing support projects.
Your Talent
- Master or Bachelor’s degree in business administration;
- In-depth knowledge of SAP s/4 Hana, deployment and integration solutions;
- Experience in SAP SD is a pre;
- Experience as an SAP functional consultant in a similar industry is a pre;
- Great collaboration, interpersonal, and communication skills;
- Work self-directed and independently;
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving abilities;
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills;
- Ability to understand business processes from a (internal) customer perspective;
- Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others;
- Must be results oriented and demonstrate a ‘can-do’ attitude.
