design of electromechanical and mechanical systems (spacecraft mechanisms, robotic systems, structures, ground support equipment);
structural and thermal FEA validation of parts and assemblies;
creation of design documentation, including 2D drawings of mechanical parts;
AIT of prototypes of the developed space systems and ground support equipment.
mechanical, structural, aerospace engineering or similar background;
2+ years of demonstrated experience with autonomous design of spacecraft mechanical systems;
good knowledge of CAD systems;
ability to conduct FEA on parts and assemblies, including the creation of the model and post-processing (proficiency with ANSYS is considered an advantage);

good knowledge of physics in the context of space engineering (structural mechanics, vibration, heat transfer, etc.);
good knowledge of space industry standards, in particular those referring to design, assembly, integration and testing;
proficient use of English (speaking and writing);
ability to work autonomously;
team player;
legal authorization to work in Italy.
