• Carrying out calculations for dimensioning and evaluating of mechanical wind turbine components using analytical and numerical methods;
• Coordination with other departments (design, load calculation);
• Assessment of static and fatique strength, uniaxial and multiaxial;
• Collaboration in the further development of verification and calculation methods;
• Collaboration in the further development of calculation tools and the automation of calculation processes;
• Development of innovative solutions for design changes and new developments;
• Preparation of certification reports.

Functie eisen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent);
• Experience with FEA software (e.g. Ansys) and knowledge of its capabilities and limitations;
• Knowledge of precast concrete technology;
• Good communication skills in Dutch and English.
