Financial Controller
As a Financial Controller, you will engage in a diverse array of activities including reporting, consolidation, fiscality, and risk and control. More specific, these include:
- Financial Oversight: Take charge of monitoring the entire financial process and monthly financial reporting, including P&L, balance sheets, and cashflow statements.
- Risk & Control Framework: Drive improvements in the Risk & Control Framework to ensure operational excellence.
- Year-End Coordination: Coordinate financial year-end closing procedures, draft financial statements, and liaise with external accountants.
- Audit Involvement: Participate in audit processes to uphold financial integrity.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to enhancing processes and activities within the department.
- Compliance Assurance: Ensure compliance with legislation including Dutch GAAP, VAT, corporate tax, packaging taxes and more.
What do we expect?
- Between 3 to 5 years experience in a similar financial role.
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting and control, or a similar education.
- Accuracy, analytical, and a strategic mindset to tackle challenges.
- Fluent in English, fluency in Dutch is a pre
- Up-to-date knowledge of Dutch GAAP and legislation with outstanding understanding.
- Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with financial software, especially AFAS, is beneficial.

- Salary range between €3.850,- and €4.600,- gross per month excluding 8% vacation pay and a full 13th month, depending on experience.
- Flexible working hours.

- A weekly vegetable crate at a discounted rate.
- A fun job in which you can learn a lot, in all disciplines of the business.
- A travel allowance of €0,23 a km, with a maximum of 60 km roundtrip. Do you travel by public transport? We have a shuttle driving between Gouda station and our company premises in Waddinxveen.
